Prince Malabar Porotta is a layered flatbread made from maida flour, deriving from the coastal town of Malabar in the southern state of Kerala. It's been said that some secrets can't always remain hidden, and this bread has made it's way all over the world.
To prepare the Porotta from frozen please leave it to thaw at room temprature or defrost in the microwave. Once the Porotta is defrosted and for best results place it on a Thawa (Flat Pan) and fry for 2-3 minutes on a low heat for the best results. No extra preparation is necessary but if you wish you may spread the Porotta with butter or Ghee for extra softness.
